WHAT IS LASER RESURFACING AND NORDLYS?

Nordlys Devices provide aesthetic and dermatological laser resurfacing procedures with a single multi-application platform for various skin treatments.

How do light-based skincare treatments work?

The science behind Frax 1550.
Light-based therapies are rooted in the science of optics, where colour is determined by different wavelengths of electromagnetic energy interacting with our environment. Light-based skincare devices like FRAX 1550 utilize this optical science to deliver their desired outcomes.

These devices emit specific wavelengths at specific intensities, which interact differently with the pigments in our skin. As a result, each device can accurately target various dermatological concerns, such as rosacea with a rosy-red appearance, while minimizing damage to the surrounding tissue.

FAQS For Frax 1550

The laser is gently rolled across the skin during brief treatment sessions. Controlled thermal columns of heat are created in the skin. They are immediately stimulating an inflammatory response and control trauma. Your body works to soothe, reinforce and regenerate the treatment site. The proliferation of collagen and elastin is prevalent up to 90 days after the initial treatment. It is what rebuilds, tightens, and enhances lax or damaged structures.

Combination treatment with an SWT applicator followed by the Frax 1550 laser produces an even better result with fewer treatments. And because the skin's surface is left intact, the downtime is limited.

A patented integrated cooling system, SoftCool™ produces cooled air exactly where you need it – at the treatment site. The focused stream of cool air minimizes patient discomfort by efficiently removing excessive heat before, during, and after Frax 1550 treatments. We also use topical numbing for more comfort.
Redness and a bit of sensitivity in the treated area are expected.
Redness caused by the treatment can be camouflaged by makeup without any negative effects. A good hydrating moisturizer should be applied post-treatment.
A course of 2 to 6 treatments is highly recommended, one spaced out every four weeks.
