What is Browpexy Liverpool?
Browpexy is a minimally invasive mini brow lift designed to subtly elevate and stabilise the brow for a refreshed, more youthful look — with minimal visible scarring. Using fine sutures, the central and outer brow can be lifted to reduce heaviness over the upper eyelid, without the longer incisions associated with a traditional brow lift.
This precision procedure is performed under local anaesthetic in our CQC-registered Cosmetic Surgery of The Royal Liver Building, ensuring maximum comfort and a faster recovery.

There are two main approaches:
- Internal Browpexy: Performed at the same time as upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) through the eyelid crease incision, avoiding any additional scars.
- External Browpexy: Involves a small incision above the brow hairline — ideal for concealing scars, particularly effective for patients with thicker brow hair.

Who is a Good Candidate for Browpexy Liverpool?
Browpexy is ideal for patients with mild to moderate drooping of the outer brow and upper eyelid who want a subtle improvement without the downtime or scars of a full brow lift.
It is commonly performed alongside blepharoplasty to maintain brow position after eyelid surgery. Patients with significant brow descent or forehead laxity may benefit more from a Temporal Brow Lift or Direct Brow Lift.

How is Browpexy Performed?
Browpexy can be carried out under local anaesthetic and usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes.
- Internal Browpexy: Uses the same incision as blepharoplasty; sutures are placed to anchor the brow in a lifted position.
- External Browpexy: Requires a small incision above the brow hairline to insert sutures that elevate and stabilise the brow.
