Endolift® treatment uses a 1470nm laser and works through a single-use micro-optical fibre
– as thin as hair – that is easily inserted under the skin into the superficial hypodermis. The
laser energy carefully targets water and fat, effectively melting fat while stimulating
collagen production, causing immediate skin retraction, and reducing skin laxity.
One treatment is usually recommended, which takes 1 to 2 hours and is performed via local anaesthesia. Endolift® results take 3 to 6 months to appreciate fully; nonetheless, this depends entirely on the patient, and many patients experience visible results sooner. Post Endolift® treatment, you will be given aftercare instructions and a date for your initial review between 4 and 6 weeks. Endolift® is performed as an outpatient procedure so that you can go home right away.
There is no need for any compression bandages or dressings. After your procedure, redness
and bruising may appear; however, this usually resolves within 1 to 2 weeks, and most
patients can resume social activities within 1 to 2 weeks.
Patients may also experience some mild soreness, tenderness, and numbness for several weeks following treatment; these are not permanent and will resolve with time. In rare cases, a lower-face treatment may temporarily affect the motor nerve, necessitating anti- inflammatory tablets. However, once again these resolve within time.
